Spring 2016 Field Showing
May 2, 7-8pm
@utah museum of contemporary art
20 South West Temple, Salt Lake City
Come see the culmination of 5 weeks of feedback and finetuning of my original songs within this multi-discipline artist group. This will be an informal “open studio” showing of visual art, new media, and short performances developed during this five-week workshop. Local artists and some who are currently participants in UMOCA’s Artist-in-Residence program will be presenting contemporary works and works-in-progress, and talking about their use of the Field Method of critique for this workshop. Dance Theatre Coalition is the official Field Network Site of Salt Lake City. This event is free and open to the public.
I will perform 3 songs that I have been working on for this showing. It's been a remarkable experience, working along side these artists. I hope you can make it down to enjoy some art, performance and get a taste of the Field Method process.
